Focal Ón Stiurthóir.

Ba mhaith liom fáilte croíúil a chuir romhat chuig ár suíomh. Tá súil agam gur féidir le hIonad Oideachais Mhuineacháin gach cabhair agus tacaíocht a thabhairt duit ar do thuras gairmiúil san oideachas.

I’d like to take the opportunity to introduce myself as the Director of Monaghan Education Centre. I look forward to working with you all in the most professional and collaborative sense. I intend to ensure that the work and legacy of all previous Directors (Seán Mac Cinna, Sr. Maura Dempsey, Diane Wright-Kenrick, Roy Mallon, Nóra Mac Cinna, Séamus McDermott, Jimmy McGeough and Dáithí Mac Thaidhg), as well as our Management Committee, Chaired by Mr. Roy Mallon, is respected and added to.

My broader vision is of an Education Centre which continues its long-held passion for excellence, collaboration and community. MEC has a long-standing arrangement of hosting national support services and will continue to do so in partnership and with pride.

Having been a post-primary Principal in Blanchardstown until 31st August 2021, I know all too well that the current educational climate is challenging. I would like to express my empathy and solidarity with you, as much as offer any practical support I or the centre may be able to provide. Do not hesitate to contact me.

As we flex and adapt to the reality of the world around us, our online CPD offerings continue to be hugely popular and Monaghan EC will remain at the forefront of training and professional development provision in Monaghan, Cavan and beyond. Our success is built together and shared equally. As such, Monaghan EC will need your support and input going forward. I very much look forward to the task at hand.

Chuirfinn fáilte roimh chomhfhreagras trí Ghaeilge chomh maith.

You may email me at director@metc.ie

Kind regards,

Frank Milling
