Heritage Competition – Design an emoji

Please see below details of the heritage competition being organised by the Department of Culture Heritage and Gaeltacht. This competition is open to all primary schools and is aimed at encouraging 4th, 5th and 6th class pupils to reflect on the heritage of Ireland and to represent their opinions through the design of an emoji with a maximum 50 word explanation of how the emoji represents their thoughts on Heritage.

However the main details are as follows:

  1. Design an Emoji
  2. Submit all entries via scanned email to info@metc.ie before April 2nd
  3. A local winner for each class group (4th/5th/6tth)  will be selected and forwarded to a regional final which will take place between April 8th– 12th.
  4. The regional winners will then qualify for the national final in June.
