Hunger Heroes is Concern Worldwide newest educational programme for Primary School students and teachers.
What is Hunger Heroes about?
Hunger Heroes is a fun online programme that engages young people on the issues of:
- Food Waste
- Climate Change
- Impact of Climate Change in the developing world
Teachers will be sent a pack full of interactive lesson plans, games and links to videos.
I have signed up to Hunger Heroes. What do I do next?
Schools will have the option to complete a small project and submit remotely online at our Agents of Change celebration next April. Certs will be given to all students who take part and prizes are available for best projects. A guide will be given to all teachers and Concern staff are on hand to support.
I would like a Concern staff member to speak to my students but am worried about social distancing.
Concern staff members are able to conduct a live video call to your classroom using your preferred platform free of charge. We also have videos available on youtube in which a Concern staff member talks about Hunger Heroes and the work of Concern.
How do I sign up?
