Applications for Reading Recovery training for the school year 2020/21 are now open

The application process for Reading Recovery Programme for school year 20/21 is now open on the PDST website http://www.pdst.ie/ReadingRecoveryTraining.  Please note applications cannot be made via phone or email. In light of the recent upheaval in schools due to the emergency health measures to combat the spread of Covid 19, the application window to have a teacher trained in Reading

PDST: PE WORKSHOP – FOLK DANCE (ST. CLARE’S NS, COCKHILL, AGHNASKERRY, CO. CAVAN)

This 2 hour workshop will explore the Dance strand of the PE Curriculum with a particular focus on Folk Dance. Participants will explore a variety of folk dances suitable for all age groups. Participants will also identify how to embed the development of fundamental movement skills into the Dance strand using the Move Well, Move Often resource. This practical workshop will provide participants with fun, new ideas for their dance lessons. These workshops will take place in the venues listed below, after school. Please come dressed for activity! Refreshments provided on arrival and each participant will receive a Folk Dance teaching resource and a confirmation of attendance.
