Information session on our new Primary tests in English reading and maths, and our new online testing system (DOTS)<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

The Educational Research Centre (ERC) invites primary teachers to an information session in<\/p>\n

Monaghan Education Centre<\/strong><\/b>
\nThursday February 7th<\/sup>\u00a0from 2.00pm \u2013 5.00pm.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

Two sessions:<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

Session 1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a02.00pm-3.30pm<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

Session 2\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a03.30pm-5.00pm<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

During the session, you can preview our new Primary tests in English reading and maths, delivered both on paper and on the Drumcondra Online Testing System (DOTS) platform. The test content and the technology supporting the online test delivery were all developed in Ireland, and are specifically designed to meet the needs of Irish schools.<\/p>\n

ERC staff will give a presentation about the new tests (paper and online) at 2.00 pm, and again at 3.30 pm. However, if neither of these times suit, you can still drop in to view the tests at a time that suits you. Attendees will have a chance to look through some of the paper test booklets, to try out a live test on the cloud-based system, and to see some sample reports.<\/p>\n

Attendance is free.\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>Please register to attend either session on the Monaghan Education Centre website\u00a0https:\/\/metc-courses.com\/primary-courses.html<\/a>\u00a0, or emaildots@erc.ie<\/a>\u00a0to request more information.<\/p>\n
