The course consists of two, 1.5 hour sessions, and includes the following:\u00a0<\/span>

iPad purchase options (Education, Refurbished iPads)<\/span>
Basic iPad tutorials<\/span>
An introduction to using iPads in a classroom environment<\/span>
Ideas for classroom implementation of iPads<\/span>
Presentation of Video examples of teachers using tablets in the classroom<\/span>
iPads for Assessment<\/span>
Creating content on an iPad<\/span>
App purchase; Apple Volume Licensing program<\/span>
iPad management, security<\/span>
GDPR<\/span>
School Acceptable Use Policy, BYOD (Bring Your Own Device)<\/span>
Information on how tablets can support students with SEN<\/span>
Accessibility information and guidelines<\/span>
A wide range of apps and online resources for iPads<\/span>

Learning Outcomes<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

Having completed this course, participants will be enabled to:<\/p>\n

Use the basic tools and functions associated with an iPad
\nUse an iPad to support learning in their classroom
\nExplore apps and other online resources for use on iPads
\nBecome familiar with accessibility features of iPads
\nUse an iPad to support students with special educational needs
\nManage iPads in a school environment<\/p>\n
