Back, due to popular demand: Publish A Poem Project 2020.

Pupils in 2^nd – 6^th Class in Monaghan and Cavan primary schools are invited to submit poems for the “Publish A Poem” competition.

• Work must be carried out in School.
• There will be a fee of €20 per teacher – maximum €60 per school, payable when submitting poems.
• Teachers who submit work will be asked to judge the work submitted by another school.

Winning poems will be published in second poetry anthology, to be launched by Monaghan Education Centre, in the Summer Term 2020

We would like to hear from Teachers, Classes and pupils who would be interested in this project which will run in a similar way to the “Write A Book Project” in previous years.

Important Dates

• Poems to be ready for “swap” between 3:30-4:40pm on 11th March 2020
• ‘Marked poems’ returned to Education Centre week of 30th March
• Presentation Evening June 2020
