Notice for Primary and Post Primary Teachers

If you are an educator with an interest in Global Citizenship Education, there are two unique opportunities for further studies available

 

• A full time or part time blended M.Ed. in Education for Sustainability in Global Citizenship Education offered in Mary Immaculate College, Limerick.

• A one year part-time Certificate in Global Citizenship Education offered  in Maynooth University

These postgraduate programme are designed for educators working with learners at all levels including early childhood practitioners, primary and secondary teachers and those working in the youth and adult education sectors. Registered teachers can apply to the Department of Education for a partial re-fund of fees. There are some places left for September 2024. Note re fess:  The objective of the Teacher Fee Refund Scheme is to provide a partial refund towards the cost of course fees and examination fees upon the successful completion of the teacher professional learning course/s. Education in the area of Sustainability has now been listed as a key area in the circular.
